1. With your "cleared and safe" firearm in your left or right hand, hold your VIRIDIAN in the opposite hand with the laser aperture facing in the direction of the muzzle of the firearm, away from your body and in a safe direction.

2. Bring your VIRIDIAN up and toward the firearm, aligning the grooves of your VIRIDIAN and the grooves on the rail of the firearm. Slide your VIRIDIAN straight back until the latch engages into the locking slot located on the rail of the firearm. You should hear an audible "click" as this occurs.

3. To check for positive engagement of your VIRIDIAN to the firearm, attempt to slide your VIRIDIAN forward. You should not be able to move your VIRIDIAN forward without disengaging the latch bar.

4. Your VIRIDIAN is now ready for use.

WARNING
NEVER put your hand in front of the muzzle of a firearm. Make sure you mount the VIRIDIAN from underneath and away from the muzzle of the pistol.
