So were all the other people there. "I am a retired Treasury Officer and a former Viet Nam era Green Beret. My wife is still employed as a Probation/Parole officer. I was speaking with one of the Department of Corrections Safety/Tactical Qualifications officer and was asking him if the Parole Officers were allowed to qualify with a laser attachment. He said they were but that there were some problems with people qualifying in bright day light with their lasers. I asked him if they were using the typical red laser and he said yes. "I received my Viridian Green Laser and holster (Ruger SR9 promotion) yesterday and thought I'd send a quick note. First, I would like to thank your company for participating in the Ruger SR9 promotion!! I really wasn't thinking about another laser sight - but the opportunity presented by this promotion was too good to pass up. And I am really glad I took advantage of the offer. I do have one other laser sight (red) and I have not been impressed. It is virtually worthless in full light at much past 15 to 20 feet regardless of the background and not much better under overcast conditions. I realize the advantage is supposed to be in dim/dark conditions (it does show up good in dark conditions) but it makes checking the sighting rather problematic. Since I don't have access to a night shooting range I guess the short sight-in distance will have to do. On the other hand, with the Viridian I could easily pick up the "dot" in excess of 30 yards against a variety of backgrounds with slightly overcast sky conditions. Indoors it literally "blazes" - the beam is extremely bright at any distance I might encounter while inside. I am truly impressed!! When I'm in the market for another laser sight it will be a Viridian!! Thanks for a great product and, again, for the SR9 promotion participation. "

"As a service assistant/ apprentice motorcycle technician of over 4 years at BMW Motorcycles, I thought you guys may appreciate some positive feed back on the X5L for your customers to read: The X5L unit far exceeds my expectation. The quality of the green laser is far greater than any 5mW green laser I've seen. Same goes for the LED light, I had fears that such a compact unit could not provide the light coverage desired, all fears absolved, the 100 lumen constant mode provides enough light coverage for any situation. Installation of this unit is extremely simple, if you have the ability to push a button and turn a screw, you are set, everything you need is provided in the box, all organized in custom cut foam pockets to protect the contents. Operation of the X5L unit is even easier, the buttons on one side turn it on or off and the buttons on the other change the mode of the light or laser. The ability to hold the on/off switch for momentary activation is a great feature. Over all I must say I could not be happier with the Viridian X5L unit, it makes my Glock 20 look great, and does not hurt my wallet. I can not say how glad I am I did not purchase the lasermax green laser, I would still have to equip it with a light, totaling more cost than the firearm itself, plus the added cost of having to replace two separate batteries, likely two completely different types of batteries at that. You can't go wrong with the X5L. "

"I have near completely eliminated (in ONE practice session!) my tendency to jerk the gun down in anticipation of recoil, and expect that the slight "left and high bias" is just the laser needing a little more fine tuning for alignment. BTW, the rangemaster was there working with his son to get him ready for a meet, and came up and practically begged to shoot my gun with the laser -- and drilled the target dead center with it, then said "THAT'S the brightest laser I've EVER seen!" with a look of amazement on his face -- which I explained was due purely to the color being green, not red, which is much more difficult to see in broad daylight. I bought him the WP22 for Christmas, and his B-Day was Saturday and I bought him the laser to go with it. He loves it and was shining it all over the place yesterday. "Laser Aiming Systems, I have wrote you before about the first generation WP22 laser. It took me away and I thought I would never sell it, but a new laser came a long and I just had to have it. "I mounted the Viridian Green laser on my Smith and Wesson M&P 40 and went to an outdoor range. It adjusted in quickly with no problems. In no time I was shooting quarter size patterns. I especially like the peripheral vision the laser allows while the green dot is steady on the target. I see that as a real safety factor. My wife was shooting the Mosquito with a red laser. When the sun came out the red was no longer usable but the Viridian green kept on shooting tight patterns. Thanks for making a great product. P.S. Here’s a marketing thought. It would appear you folks have misunderstood how advertising works...You're supposed to OVER state your case, not UNDER state it!This thing is much brighter than your photos and description would suggest.
